We’re here to get you outdoors
Without having to compromise on function, style or sustainability. It’s a trifecta we're pretty passionate about, and were confused why it was so hard to find that technical apparel, that actually holds up in bad weather, that properly fits, makes you feel good and doesn’t compromise on your sustainable values.
We love getting outdoors, for adventures big and small, whether it’s exploring a waterfall, doing an epic multi day trip like The Overland in Tassie, or simply heading out to walk your dog or watch the kids sport when the weather is telling you to stay indoors.
It all started when
Amble founder, Rhianna was fed up with wearing technical apparel that didn’t reflect her values, or sense of style when heading out on backpacking trips. She didn’t want to wear ill-fitting clothes that made her feel like she was ready for Everest, when she was just going for a mini adventure.
With a background in design, development and sustainable supply chains she set out to create a brand that she could be proud of. One that encouraged women to get outdoors, whether you identify as ‘outdoorsy’ or not. Committing to only using recycled and organic fabrics, Amble launched from a crowdfunding campaign and has been community focused since.
110% commitment to sustainability
From day one we’ve been committed to sustainability, and will forever be exploring ways to further reduce our impact. From recycled fabrics, to ethical factories, carbon neutral products to plastic free packaging and tree planting with every order.
We’ve recycled over 250,000 post-consumer bottlesinto fabrics so far and are so proud of our efforts as a small business. We keep track of this all in our annual Sustainability Reports highlighting our achievements and future goals.
We’re a Melbourne based small business that is designed, owned and run by women who are committed to getting more women outdoors and feeling supported and included in the outdoors.
