Waterproof 🌧️ Designed to keep you dry no matter the weather. Not just showerproof, but actually waterproof. Our fabric is rated 10,000mm waterproof, it is laminated and treated with a PFC-Free DWR coating to ensure the water beads straight off you.

Breathable 😅 It's not one of those 'keep you dry, but make you sweat' kind of jackets. We use a premium membrane that allows your body to breathe, whilst still remaining waterproof. Rated 4,000g breathable.

Windproof 🌬️ All seams are taped to ensure no wind (or rain) can get through, keeping you protected from the elements.

Lightweight 100% recycled polyester with a PFC-Free water repellent finish. Rated 10K waterproof, 4K breathable.

Spot clean preferred, or wash with Nixwax Tech Wash when required.

Fabric ♻️ High quality, durable and comfortable; made from 100% recycled polyester. Our fabric is made from recycled PET bottles that are GRS certified (Global Recycled Standard), made from over 31 recycled bottles in every jacket.

Factories 🧵 We craft our fabric in Taiwan and our garments in Xiamen, China by a BSCI certified factory; ensuring safe and healthy working conditions and fair wages

Carbon offset ☁️ We calculate every jacket's carbon footprint and offset it with third party verified projects to reduce our impact.

Packaging 📦 Plastic free of course. We send our orders home-compostable packaging.

We have bought these for our UK trip next year. The reviews are what sold the jacket for me! We have not tested in the rain yet but the jackets are well made and I can wear a jumper underneath plus my crossbody bag!

Love it!

If you're thinking about getting this jacket - Do it! i've just tried it out (it hasn't rained in Sydney in the time i had purchased it) and it's exceeded my expectations :o)

My work bag has returned home very wet, but i'm completely dry because of my Amble jacket; one shake and all the beaded water has fallen away and the jacket is ready for use again.

I purchased an XL ( i'm usually a size 14-16 AUS women's clothing) and there's plenty of room for me for layering when i go to Japan with it in December.

Customer service was also quick to respond (as mine was a pre-order) and posting from then on was quick.

Best rain jacket ever

I love my new Amble rain jacket! As a pacific northwesterner, it’s critical to have a functional coat to keep me dry during the many months of rain we get here. This one is stylish, too. I sized up for a roomier fit and to accommodate layers. I’m very happy with this elevated staple and recommend it to others.

Waterproof jacket

i love this coat! i was looking for a lightweight jacket as i only had a winter one and when bushwalking my winter coat is too heavy and hot to use. I have worn this jacket a few times now and have had complimentary comments on it from friends and work colleagues. i love the pockets as so handy when bushwalking.

Yep, they're actually waterproof - not just 'showerproof'.
Our jackets are tested in a lab to be 10,000mm waterproof. Meaning they hold up and keep you dry in the rain, unlike a lot of other jackets that don't actually have any waterproofing rating, meaning you get wet.
Nope. Our jackets are rated 4,000g breathable, so you body can breathe.
We use a premium, high quality lamination for our waterproofing, with tiny microscopic holes to let your body breathe, rather than the jacket making you sweat and trapping it in, unlike other jackets.

Yes! We're a woman designed and owned business and know so many women have difficulties finding jackets that actually fit. We offer sizes XS - 4XL.
Because of this, we designed our jackets to have plenty of room in the bust, and a slight A line shape to fit your hips too. Feel free to email us with your measurements if you'd like specific sizing help
Yes they are, the Refuge Jackets weigh about 550g making them lightweight and perfect for travel.
As a shell jacket (without a lining) they also pack down pretty small, you can roll them into their hood, making them about 18x8x8cm.
